About Me

I am currently on track to graduate from UIUC in May of 2009 with an MS in Computer Sceince. Though I chose CS as my major 5 years ago, my interests vary almost seasonally. I've been actively designing and coding various websites since my parents first got dialup through AOL in 1995. For better or for worse, many of my early sites went down with the help of Geocities, AOL, and general inactivity. Currently, you can find a portfolio of some of my more recent sites in the Web Design section of this site.

Apart from web design, I have a strong interest in massively parallel computing. Specifically, I've done some research regarding support for debugging massively parallel applications (see Publications). Additionally, I've been actively learning and playing with CUDA both educationally and professionally. I am currently developing my skills in creating parallel applications that will run on current and future generations of GPGPU hardware.

The other defining element of my life is music. I've sung in choirs for most of my educated life, and actively practive guitar and piano. I enjoy writing songs as well as just performing for my walls or whoever else is around. In addition to music, I like to dabble in a host of other activities: drawing, graphic design, rock climbing, and volleyball to name a few.
